The Ladies Night took place on the 1st February 2014 to raise money for Meningitis Now in memory of Donna. A very good friend kindly opened up her home to family and friends for the Charity Night. Around 30 people turned out for this event. We had raffle prizes and loads of gifts to be had. If no one wanted to buy they made a donation instead. Thanks to The Hospital Inn, Bamber Bridge, for the £10 voucher. Also thank you to Booths in Chorley for donating the bottle of champagne with truffles. A big thank you to all concerned and especially to Jo for organising it all, her husband Mark who made a lovely buffet for everyone and to their two sons, Christopher and William, for selling the raffle tickets and wristbands. We raised an incredible amount of £1021 which is a fantastic amount. This will now go into Donna's Tribute Fund to use for vital research into this horrific disease, which sadly took Donna's life aged just 25 years old. Thank you once again to everyone who came along on the night,we greatly appreciate your support.Updates
