I thought for your 3rd Anniversary Donna, I would dedicate Gillerthwaite to you as you loved the place so much. I wanted to do something special for you.
I cannot believe its 3 years since you left us. I miss you every minute of everyday Donna and always will. These photos of Gillerthwaite that I have put on your fund for you, were taken at Easter. We missed you not being with us so much. The daffodils are all in tight bud, as you can see from the photo. There are about 1,000 daffs planted on the hillside in memory of you Donna. It will be a fantastic show when they all flower. Adrian took a barrel of ale and we asked for a £2 a pint donation for Meningitis Now. As you know we made £165, which also included the egg dumping competition. Andy and Kath were in the final and Andy won. He wouldn't take the prize money of £10, he put it back in the donation box. Thank you to Andy for that. I have put a photo of Jack crossing the famous bridge Donna. Kath organised an Easter Egg Hunt, which was inside Gillerthwaite as it was raining outside. I've put a couple of photos on for you. Do you remember when you were younger, organising egg hunts for the children at Gillerthwaite. I've put a photo on of that too.
Jack enjoyed himself Donna. I know that Adrian will keep taking him to Gillerthwaite and hopefully, as he grows up, he will love it just like Mummy did.
I know I don't have the same love of Gillerthwaite as you did, but I have so many happy memories of when you were little, growing up to love the place like Dad does.
I hope Donna that by writing about Gillerthwaite and putting these photos on for you, they will always remind you of your love for Gillerthwaite and all the good times you had there with family and friends.
